Enzymes are an essential protein that is very vital for any organ system which involves an anabolic and catabolic route of digestion and metabolism in the body. There are various types of enzymes that are essential to feed. In an environment of high-cost corn, many farmers or producers are choosing substitutes for this which are less nutritive value. These substitutes are wheat, barley, sorghum (low-tannin varieties) that are rich in non-starch polysaccharides and with this there is a negative correlation between the diet content in non-starch polysaccharides and its nutritive value.
